The Rooms At Ruckman Haus

There are five rooms and suites here at Ruckman Haus. Each one has its own unique features.

On this overview page, we'd like to describe each of them to you briefly. Along with each of these brief descriptions, you'll find a link that you can use to see more pictures of the rooms and expanded descriptions of them.

But, no matter which room you choose, you can be assured of a restful, comfortable, enjoyable stay. Your hosts, Ron and Prudence Ruckman, have tried to anticipate all of your needs, but they of course are ready to help you with anything while you are their guest at Ruckman Haus.

All of our guests can enjoy not only the comforts and conveniences in their own particular rooms, but of course will be served a gourmet breakfast and also have access to the public rooms and gardens. But since you will probably spend most of your time with us in your own room or suite, the room amenities that you can expect are probably very important to you.

Room Amenities: Queen-size Bed in the English, the French, the Luxembourg, and the Highlands King-size Bed in the Sun Room Sleep wonderfully on luxurious, high-thread-count linens. Plush Cotton Robes Individual A/C & Heat Use the remote control to adjust your individual A/C and heat to your own comfort level In-room Refrigerator Refresh yourself with complimentary water and soda from your small refrigerator Cable TV w/DVD Player Entertain yourself using your flat-screen television with remote and cable TV, or watch one of the many available movies on your in-room DVD player WI-FI Use your laptop to access the Internet using our house-wide WI-FI network from your room or from the various decks, gardens and public rooms Private Bath Refresh yourself in your beautifully-appointed private bath Each bath is stocked with our signature toiletries from Gilchrist & Soames of London The English Room and Sun Room have multiple showerheads and body jets The Highlands Loft has a claw-foot tub and hand shower Flavia Refreshment Machine that makes coffee, tea and hot chocolate by the cup

The English Room

The French Room

The French Room Provence? San Antonio? Even we can't tell! The French Room features a spacious work area and a private deck overlooking the East Garden. Take a Tour Check Availability

 

The Highlands

The Highlands Doing a Scottish Fling in the land of the Texas Two-Step The Highlands features a wonderful large slipper tub with hand shower in the bath, a reading nook and a daybed for a third person. Take a Tour Check Availability

 

The Luxembourg Room

The Luxembourg Room European efficiency meets Texas charm The Luxembourg Room is our smallest room but it has all the features of our other rooms plus a private deck with views of the garden and neighborhood. Take a Tour Check Availability

 

The Sun Room

The Sun Room Old Mexico, but new and much, much closer The Sun Room features a bedroom area, a wonderful shower with body jets, separate sitting/sun room, lots of windows, and a unique circular staircase leading to a private rooftop deck.
